The Brexit referendum of June 2016, and its aftermath have led to blood, sweat and tears, both in (now so-called global) Britain and in the (now apparently isolated) Continent.

Three years later, the UK is still a member of the European Union and confusions reigns in Parliament, Whitehall and in the streets of the UK, while the rest of the continent watches in disbelief.

However, the streets of London remain their usual vibrant and full of life. And yet, something is starting to change if you know where to look.

On the contrary, many Britons are starting to learn French…and to ask existential questions: do Brussels, Luxembourg or Paris offer the best tax deals and dating services?

Will the UK remain in one piece or see an independent Scotland and even a reunified Ireland? Could EU supporters get a second chance? Would a second referendum settle the debate or divide even further the country?
