The vernissage, hosted at La Gare du Sud, will showcase the works of our resident artist, Komal Bedi. A one-day photography workshop led by renowned photographer and jury of La Vie en Bleu, where you will immerse in the picturesque alleys of Nice for an unforgettable and productive day.

This program offers a guided outing with specific exercises to learn or improve the management of natural light, composition, urban landscapes and interaction with subjects.
The best photos of the participants will be showcased on the giant screen at Gare du Sud and shared on La Vie en Bleu's social media channels.
This is a unique opportunity to perfect your street photography technique with Valérie SIX.
All photography lovers of legal age can participate.
Only prerequisite: mastery of the basic settings of your camera or smartphone.

Discussion between Komal Bedi Sohal (India) - the winner of La Vie en Bleu residency 2024, and Francois Silvestre de Sacy (France) - 'Honorable Mention' of the jury -
In this panel, Komal and Francois will discuss bout their photography projects within different marginalised communities in Asia.
Komal has been working on a widows’ community in India while François has focused on the LGBTQ community in China.
They will discuss not only their personal projects but also how many people are being left behind and discriminated against amid the rapid economic growth in China and India.

Join renowned photographer Ximena Echagüe in a one-day photography adventure in Nice. Step out of your comfort zone as you challenge yourself to see and capture the world in a new light under time constraints.
Randomly we will select one of five themes from a box of challenge cards and hit the streets to photograph the chosen theme.
At the end of the day, gather with Ximena to review and discuss your captured images, selecting the best representations of the challenge.
